comparable institution.
• Three (3) years of relevant teaching experience and/or professional construction experience
employed in increasingly responsible management positions primarily in the South African
construction or comparable industry

Master’s Degree (within the discipline of apparel or related areas). Undergraduate studies must include apparel
technology subjects.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant teaching/ relevant apparel industry experience – eg in technology, manufacturing
processes
and/or business. (Teaching or training experience in relevant, Higher Education, industry or training institutions).
• Sound knowledge of the technical aspects of apparel including but not limited to patternmaking, construction,
quality, work study, production methods, and raw materials.

• A minimum of 3 years teaching and or industry experience.
