• Bachelor's degree ideally in technology (Business with MIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems)
• Proven track record of successful delivery of large engagements in area of Technology Transformation.
• Experience in building, leading and coaching teams in order to achieve business objectives.
• Substantial experience in technology leadership roles at a consulting/professional services company, cloud provider or customer environment in Enterprise solutions.
• Extensive experience of IT strategy and Enterprise Architecture and most recently in context of migrations to hybrid and public cloud.
• Experience using frameworks/methodologies to assess and recommend application migration approaches and cloud platform options.
• A broad technology track record that’s continually evolved across different platforms from on-prem to infrastructure and software as a service including back office, front office, database/middleware, virtualization, modern container-based approaches, microservices, API’s and serverless.
• Exceptional customer engagement, especially at C-level across both business and technology leadership. Ability to pivot from a technology to business/commercial discussion, identifying the business value of the shift to cloud and new business models enabled.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior audiences.
• Confidence to lead meetings with client sponsors, management, and individual contributors

• Manage a 12-month cycle of strategic planning and initiative delivery.
• Understand global, firm wide and industry business issues and how they relate to overall strategy, and specific stakeholder needs and priorities.
• Budget collation and prioritisation.
• Provide input on key technology issues and strategy to shape strategy execution, initiatives, and stakeholder management and interactions.
• Anticipate communications needs and work independently to develop draft agendas, topics, speaking notes and presentations.
• Manages majority of day-to-day responsibilities independently.
• Frequently interact with other members of the Africa Assurance Innovation and Digital Team to obtain, input, share information and guide operational team members.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships across many different functions and organisational levels.
• Strong understanding of a variety of organisational changes, including technology, process and organisational design, within a large and complex organisation

• Experience with relevant statistical software / programming languages (Python, R, MATLAB)
• Knowledge and experience of relational (SQL) and no-SQL databases
• Using new and emerging platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with modern development and deployment tools e.g. Git, Docker, Test-driven deployment
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Azure and scaling analytic products in the cloud
• Working knowledge in visualization platforms and customization (Power BI, Tableau etc)

Bcom Honours with ITC and APC
• Around 1 -2 years’ post article experience as an accountant or auditor in the Assurance
Space
• Excellent critical thinking and analysis skills, and the confidence to identify and resolve
problems
• A proven record of excellence in communication and negotiation, supported by the
technical writing skills to translate data into compelling stories and meaningful insights.
