Requirements:-
- Strive to maintain a high level of customer service and practice the Commercial Trip Service (CS) philosophy of “never saying NO” to a customer. Also, work to maintain a high level of respect and cooperation among all colleagues in the World Fuel Services family.
- Request and obtain ground services (ground handling, permits, slots, customs, hotel, transportation, fuel, etc.) for CS customers.
- Assume full responsibility, along with all CS team members, to ensure “quality control” of the CS product.
- Follow all department and company policies and procedures.
- Assume additional duties as needed and assigned by the CS Management Team.
- Flight Consultants receive “Trips” from customers by phone, e-mail, SITA or FAX. Each customer has specific needs and/or requirements so there is no standardized format. The Flight Consult must be able to determine what the customer’s needs are and then request and obtain those services (handling, permits etc.).
- The Flight Consultant is guided by department policies and procedures as well as guidelines established by the various Civil Aviation and Customs offices along with the ATC, DOT and IATA. Within all of these parameters the FC must be able to determine what can or cannot be done on behalf of the customer and then take the appropriate action.
- Good trip planning by a Flight Consult will keep a customer satisfied, which in turn will help safeguard the profit generated by that customer.
- The Flight Consultant does not have any INTERNAL supervisory responsibilities; however the Flight Consult does have measurable influence over EXTERNAL “team members” such as ground handlers/agents. The Flight Consultant must be able to direct our network of agents, as needed, to ensure operational excellence.
