• Drives effective execution of the risk appetite strategy and framework in line with the risk appetite statements, the Group Credit Risk Governance Standard and the BCB Credit Policy.
• Provides input into the Credit Risk business unit strategies to ensure alignment with the desired Credit risk profiles.
• Coordinates Risk Appetite and Stress Testing activities across the BCB Group and BCB Africa Regions businesses and ensures that Risk Appetite and Stress Testing become key management tools for forward-looking portfolio management.
• Shares the credit risk appetite framework and methods proactively through participation in employee orientation sessions and creating awareness in executive engagement sessions

Requirements:-

• 5-7 years previous experience in a commercial banking or Corporate and Investment Bank, or similar environment
• Experience in debt structuring solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of debt structuring policies, systems and procedures
• Sound experience in, and knowledge of, credit and compliance matters
• Knowledge and understanding of different industry sectors and sector risk profiles and trends
