Requirements:-

• A PhD in Pure Mathematics or related field, at the time of appointment,
• A record of research that indicates strong potential in the field, including publications in peer reviewed
journals and conference attendance, and,
• Experience lecturing mathematics at undergraduate level, including evidence of effectiveness as a teacher.

Requirements:-

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in clinical work (Private or Community Clinics)
• Prior working experience in Phlebotomy advantageous

Post-graduate degree, at least Honours level, in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, public health, social science).
• At least 3 years of Fieldwork Management experience and supervising a team, working in public health or psychology
research in low resource settings.
• Registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) or the South African Council for Social Service
Professions (SACSSP)
• Experience in conducting interviews and focus groups.
• Fluent in English and Xhosa or English and Afrikaans
• Excellent ability to build interpersonal relationships and partnerships
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Requirements:-

Post-graduate degree (NQF9 level) or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in the required area of work with an emphasis on skills across the communication, marketing
& media sphere. This would include special focus on integrating communication, and preferably within a relevant academic
administration environment.
• An established track record of managing communication issues at strategic level.
• At least three years management experience at a senior level in managing people, budgets and operations l .
• High level of written and verbal communication skills coupled with sound interpersonal skills essential to this role as writing
of reports and other documents are key aspects of this position.
• Ability to demonstrate that they can proactively respond to and manage crisis situations within a highly pressurized
environment.

Requirements:-

Administering the counselling intervention to participants
• Participating in weekly supervision and being open to feedback from supervisors
• Documenting progress after each counselling session
• Completing brief data collection after each assessment
• Engage with study participants to ensure study retention
• Providing regular updates to the Project Director and research team
• Engaging in regular communication with staff at the ARV Clinic site and substance use treatment programs
• Assisting with various administrative and operational tasks as the need arises

Requirements:-

• Project management.
• Hazardous chemical agent and waste risk assessments, waste management, online chemical inventory set-up.
• Biosafety level 2 laboratory, biohazardous agent and waste risk assessments.
Appropriate training will be provided as part of career development.

Requirements:-

• A 3-year Bachelor’s degree at NQF 7 or 3- year National diploma at NQF level 6 in Purchasing & Supply
Management or equivalent
• A minimum of 6 years relevant work experience at a middle management level with exposure to various
aspects of the relevant procurement categories
• Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements:-

Performing clinical procedures such as phlebotomy
• Performing all study activities according to Good Clinical Practice standards.
• Performing rigorous collection and labeling of all study related samples including
• Assisting Study Coordinator’s in day to day clinic functions, including assisting in maintaining efficient
clinic flow and providing administrative assistance.
• Performing all medical observations for physical examinations and ensuring that all results are received,
and chart noted accordingly.
• Performing other client care procedures as required.
• Entering data on electronic and paper case report forms and processing.
• Performing Quality Control (QC) checks on CRFs and source documents.
• Maintaining and ordering stock when required
• Call clients who require a follow up health check as identified during their clinic visit
• Attending all necessary trainings, meetings and calls.

Requirements:-

MBBS Degree
• Registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a clinical associate
• Willing to travel between Cape Town and Mthatha and potentially spend up to one week per month in Mthatha
• Keen interest in Clinical Research (particularly Allergy, Immunology and Dermatology)
• Computer skills (MS Office including Excel)

• NQF level 7 (Degree or Diploma in General Nursing Science)
• Based in Mthatha or surrounds or willingness to relocate
• Keen interest in Research (particularly Allergy, Immunology and Dermatology)

A BSc/BTech degree in Life Sciences or related field
• At least 3 months’ experience in the use of light microscopy
• At least 2 years’ experience working in an academic environment
• Demonstrated advanced competence in use of common software such as MS Office, MS Excel, Adobe
Photoshop

Requirements:-

A Bachelors’ degree (or equivalent NQF 7 level qualification) in Information Systems or related field
(Computer Science, Engineering) with at least 3 years’ recent and relevant experience including but not
limited to process management experience, data integrity, data quality and system security experience, at
the level sought for the post
• OR NQF 4 level qualification with a full suite of product certifications including but not limited to MS
Database administration or MS Database fundamentals, A+ and N+ certification, 10 years’ recent and
relevant experience in Data Base Management & Development, including but not limited to process
management experience, data integrity, data quality and system security experience, at the level sought
for the post.
