• A Doctoral qualification in any of the disciplines offered in the Faculty of Health Sciences
• Minimum Associate Professor academic rank level
• At least 5 years’ experience in research and teaching in higher education environment
• At least three (3) years leadership experience in an academic environment
• A record of DHET-accredited research publication track record commensurate with the academic rank level
• A teaching, learning or an assessor’s qualification at a post graduate level.
• Knowledge of the Faculty’s qualifications, the University’s policies, rules and regulations; and of the national higher education and relevant professional body environment and requirements
• Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision, especially in Doctoral Degrees

Requirements:- 

• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• A valid professional registration with HPCSA as a Speech Therapist
• At least three (3) clinical practice in the field of Speech Therapy
• Experience in clinical supervision or mentoring

Requirements:- 

• Masters qualification in Law.
• At least two (2) years of experience in teaching at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
• At least two (2) years of experience in research and innovation.
• Demonstrable understanding of national and international research and innovation environments.
• Demonstrable ability to supervise post-graduate students and an acceptable tract record of research publications in accredited or high impact journals.

Requirements:- 

1. Develops and disseminates corporate ethics statements, policies /framework and supporting forms/acknowledgements.
2. Administer, manage and monitor the implementation of the framework.
3. Managing completion of the Annual Ethics Declaration, and/or potential conflicts of interest both by Council, employees, contractors and suppliers.
4. Monitoring, evaluation and reporting of breaches (i.e. where conflict of interest has been identified).
5. Oversees the development and implementation of corporate ethics and conflict-of-interest training and conducts ethical decision-making training for senior management on ethics issues and avoiding conflicts of interest.
6. Developing and implementing training programs for employees on ethical standards and practices in their specific field.

Requirements:- 

• Possession of a doctoral degree in Social Work
• Registration with South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP)
• At least 7 years’ experience for a full Professor / 5 years for Associate Professor in higher education with extensive teaching and research experience in social work
• Track record of research publications commensurate with the academic rank level of a full Professor/ Associate Professor
• Extensive postgraduate supervision experience

• Experience of postgraduate supervision
